Wind seemed to keep the snow pretty firm for our ascent (departed at 4:45am). On the descent the entire mountain melted at once - incredibly slushy snow the whole way down. BEWARE the cornice is coming off the rim. Bud…

Awesome day, awesome weather. Doesn’t get better than this. Massive cornice over the summit, so keep your distance if you’re going for the true summit.
