The Deep Fork National Wildlife Refuge is part of the United States system of National Wildlife Refuges, and is a critical resource for wildfowl that migrate along the Central Flyway in Spring and Fall. The preserve runs along both banks of the Deep Fork River for about 20 miles (32 km).
