About Conscience Point National Wildlife Refuge

The Conscience Point National Wildlife Refuge was established July 20, 1971, as a land gift from Stanley Howard. The refuge protects grasslands, oak-beech forest, shrub habitats, kettle holes, freshwater marsh and salt marsh.
